Job Description/Mission Statement
We are seeking experienced Staff Appraisers to support our growing number of valuation products including a full line of Appraisal products and Value Reconciliations. The Staff Appraiser’s primary responsibilities will be reviewing our Appraisal products for superior quality, fielding phone calls and coaching our vendors to achieve a high level of product quality. Staff Appraisers will also complete Value Reconciliations and train staff and vendors on valuation techniques, as needed. The ideal candidate should also enjoy a dynamic work environment. As Clear Capital’s product line develops, the Staff Appraiser’s duties may expand.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Review full line of appraisal products to ensure superior quality
As needed, review Value Reconciliations and other value opinions to ensure superior quality
Provide valuation training and feedback to internal staff and external vendors
Support customer teams on valuation challenges
Represent Clear Capital and our customers at secondary market tie-out meetings
Required Job Related Skills and Experience
Current Residential Appraisal license
Strong written and oral communication skills
Comfortable working at a fast pace
Additional Qualifications
Certified Appraisal license is a plus
Appraisal review experience is a plus
Secondary market or portfolio evaluation experience is a plus
